What Happens During the Experience
Every couple arrives with a mix of excitement and nerves — that’s completely natural.
The experience is designed to unfold slowly and intentionally, with guidance and care at every stage, so you can stay present, connected, and fully supported throughout.
Before You Arrive
The experience begins well before you step into the studio. During your private consultation all your questions will be answered. I will get to know you a little bit better and will follow up with a questionnaire. This will serve to help me curate the perfect experience for you, but will also invite you to sit down and really think about what you would want out of this adventure. You’ll receive a thoughtful preparation guide as well, designed to help you feel confident, inspired, and excited. It offers guidance on selecting outfits, setting intentions, and beginning to imagine what this experience could be for you — together.
Nothing here is about rules or expectations. It’s about curiosity, anticipation, and arriving already connected to the process.
Arrival & Grounding
You’re welcomed into a private studio space where we take time to slow down and arrive fully. Professional hair and makeup are part of the experience, allowing you to be cared for as you settle in.
We begin with mimosas and light nourishment — a moment to breathe, connect, and shift out of the outside world. This is where we start nourishing not just the body, but the soul as well.
We’ll review your outfits together, talk through what feels right, and decide how the experience will unfold. No two sessions are ever the same — everything is shaped around the people in front of the camera.
Guided Intimacy
Rather than posing or performing, you’re gently guided through movements and interactions that feel natural and authentic to you. You are never left wondering what to do — you are gently led. This is a collaborative process — we work together, moment by moment, creating something that reflects your connection, your energy, and your story.
Everything unfolds at your pace, with clear communication, consent, and emotional safety held throughout.
Artful Creation
As the experience deepens, images are created quietly and intuitively — focused on connection, presence, and emotional truth rather than perfection or repetition. This is not a cookie-cutter session; it’s a curated experience designed uniquely for you.
Same-Day Reveal
After the session, you’ll step away for a couple of hours — time to debrief, reconnect, and let the experience settle. During this pause, I carefully work through the images, selecting a curated collection of approximately 100 photographs that best reflect what unfolded between you.
I’ll also hand-edit one or two images so you can see and feel what the final artwork will look like.
When you return for the reveal, the experience comes full circle. This is where the most intentional work of the day happens — choosing the images that resonate most deeply with you. It’s a meaningful, sometimes challenging, and ultimately empowering process, and you’ll be fully supported as you select the artwork that will become your lasting reminder of this experience.
A Lasting Reminder
Your artwork becomes more than a memory of Las Vegas — it’s a tangible reminder of how you felt together in this moment: connected, alive, and deeply present.
About Susan
I believe that intimacy deserves to be held with care.
I’m Susan — a couples boudoir photographer, qualified social worker, Somatica-trained intimacy coach, and American Board of Sexology–certified sexologist. My work lives at the intersection of artistry, emotional presence, and human connection.
Boudoir, to me, is not a performance or a formula. It feels more grounded. More personal. Every session is a collaborative, relational experience shaped by the people in front of my camera — their dynamic, their energy, and what feels true for them in that moment.
My background in social work and intimacy coaching allows me to stay deeply attuned to the emotional landscape of each couple. Whether you arrive feeling excited, nervous, uncertain, or all of the above, I know how to slow things down, read what’s unfolding, and create an environment where you can relax into the experience rather than push through it.
Couples often tell me they feel seen, steady, and deeply connected — not just to each other, but to themselves — by the end of the experience.
This isn’t about recreating someone else’s story. It’s about creating something honest, meaningful, and entirely your own.
