Before You Arrive

The experience begins long before you enter the studio.

We start with a private consultation — a conversation about your connection, your energy, and what this moment means for you.

This is not about expectation.
It is about intention.

Are you celebrating something?
Reigniting something?
Marking a milestone?
Choosing each other again?

Collections start at $2,000.00. Once your session is reserved, you receive a curated pricing guide detailing bespoke collections and heirloom artwork offerings. Every option is presented with transparency and intention — allowing you to choose what best reflects your experience.

The Red Umbrella Preparation Guide

You will also receive the Red Umbrella Preparation Guide — designed exclusively for our clients.

Inside, you’ll find guidance on everything from hair and nails to wardrobe curation, skin preparation, and how to arrive feeling confident, relaxed, and connected.

Nothing is left to chance.
Every detail is intentional.

You receive guidance — not rules.
Direction — not pressure.

An invitation to arrive open.
To the process.
To each other.

This is where the experience begins —

boudoir photography where luxury meets intimacy.

Arrival & Grounding

When you arrive, you step into privacy.

No rush.
No outside noise.

Champagne is chilled.
Music is low.
Time softens.

Professional hair and makeup is available, designed not to transform you into someone else — but to heighten what is already there.

We review wardrobe together.
We shape the arc of the experience around you.

No two sessions are ever the same.
Everything is curated to reflect your dynamic.

Guided Intimacy

This is not about posing.

And it is not about performing.

You are gently guided into connection.

Movement is natural.
Touch is real.
Breath becomes rhythm.

If you lean in, I follow.
If you pause, we pause.

Consent is active.
Communication is clear.
You remain in control of pace.

This is not about looking intimate.
It is about being intimate.

Always.

The Pause

After the session, you step away.

Time to breathe.
To reconnect.
To let what unfolded settle between you.

During this pause, your images are refined with care.

A curated collection is prepared — reflecting not just how you looked, but how you felt.

The Reveal

When you return, the experience comes full circle.

In a private viewing, your images are revealed slowly.
Together.

You select the pieces that resonate.
The ones that feel true.
The ones that hold something
alive between you.

This is not rushed.

It is meaningful.
Sometimes emotional.
Always intentional.

You are supported throughout.

That moment needs time to land.

Not rushed.

Not squeezed into the end of a long day already full of emotion.

That is why I've moved away from same-day reveals as the default.

The images deserve time to breathe.

So do you.

  • You return to the studio the following day — rested, clear, and ready to receive what was created. The experience has had a night to settle. So have you. There are no additional requirements. Just an unhurried session to see your photographs and choose what feels right.

  • For clients who are unable to return to Las Vegas, Susan conducts your reveal virtually — typically within a week of your session.

A $500 deposit is required to book your virtual reveal. This deposit is applied in full to the collection you choose. It is not an additional cost — it is simply your first step toward your artwork, held until the moment you decide.

  • If your schedule makes it truly impossible to return, a same-day reveal can be arranged. Please let Susan know at the time of booking so the day can be planned accordingly.

A Lasting Reminder

Your artwork becomes more than a memory of Las Vegas.

A reminder of how you felt.

Connected.
Alive.
Present.

A moment you chose.
A version of yourselves you stepped into — together.

Intimacy . Intentionally

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You don't need to arrive with a perfectly curated wardrobe. During your consultation, we'll talk through what feels right for you — and the Red Umbrella Preparation Guide, sent once your session is reserved, offers detailed guidance on everything from lingerie and layering to textures, colour, and what to leave at home. Most clients bring three to five options and we choose together on the day. If you're unsure, bring what makes you feel most like yourself. That is always enough.

  • Most people haven't. Nerves are not only normal — they're welcome here. You don't need experience, confidence, or any idea of how to pose. The entire experience is guided, moment by moment, so you are never left wondering what to do or how to be. Many clients describe the first few minutes as the most nervous they felt all day — and everything after that as surprisingly natural. You will be met exactly where you are.

  • No. This is an intimate experience — but intimate is not the same as explicit. The images created here are sensual, elegant, and deeply personal. They reflect genuine connection, not performance. What you choose to wear — or not wear — is entirely your decision, made in collaboration, never by expectation. Nothing is ever pushed beyond what feels right for you. Consent is active throughout every stage of the experience.

  • The full experience is designed to unfold over most of a day. The studio portion — arrival, hair and makeup, the guided session itself — typically runs four to five hours. After the session, you step away for a couple of hours while your images are refined. You then return for the private reveal, which can take one to two hours depending on how deeply you want to move through the selection process. It is a full, immersive day — and intentionally so. This is not something that can be rushed.

For those who prefer more space between the session and the reveal, there is also the option to schedule the reveal the following day — if availability allows — or to experience it virtually, at a time that works for you, in the week after your session.

  • No. While couples are at the heart of what Red Umbrella Boudoir was built around, this space is equally open to individuals ready to reconnect with themselves. Whether you are arriving with a partner or stepping into this alone, the experience is shaped entirely around you.

  • Yes. You will never share the studio with another client or session. The space is held exclusively for you from arrival to reveal. Discretion is a foundational part of how this studio operates — not a feature, but a given.

  • You are not expected to. This is not a shoot where you perform poses from a reference board. You are gently guided through movement and connection that feels natural to your dynamic. The images that emerge reflect who you actually are — not a version of someone else. No experience is required. Only a willingness to be present.

  • Rather than operating from a fixed studio, each session is held in a carefully selected private residence — chosen for its atmosphere, its light, and above all, its complete privacy. This is a deliberate choice. A dedicated space, held exclusively for you, with no shared corridors, no reception areas, no other clients. Just the experience.

The location is shared privately once your consultation is complete. Any questions about the space — its feel, its setup, what to expect on arrival — are warmly answered at that time.

  • Your images belong to you. They are never shared, published, or used in any form without your explicit written consent. Some clients choose to share their experience — and that trust is something deeply valued — but it is always, entirely, your choice.

One thing that is asked of every client: the images are delivered as finished works of art and may not be altered, filtered, or edited after delivery. This protects the integrity of the work — and, just as importantly, protects you from images that no longer reflect the care with which they were created.

  • Many clients travel specifically for this experience. During your consultation, we'll talk through timing so the session, pause, and reveal all fit comfortably within your stay. Most out-of-town clients find it works beautifully as the centrepiece of a two- or three-day trip. Specific guidance on timing is part of what's shared during the consultation process.

  • This comes up more often than you might expect — and it's completely natural. The experience is designed to move at the pace of the person who needs more time. There is no pressure, no performance, and no moment where anyone is pushed past their comfort. Part of the preparation process is a thoughtful questionnaire that helps surface any concerns before the day, so nothing feels like a surprise once you arrive.
